Hello and welcome to my own personal photography site.
I'm David and i really enjoy a really wide range of photography ideas and concepts.
I've been interested in cameras and photography for a long time, and as a rule I don't really like being limited to any single path!
Being an explorer by nature to me everything is a journey, and sometimes you see things along the way that just take your eye! My creative soul can be inspired by many things, light hitting a staircase for instance, or to everyday people captured in a moment of thought. I love taking long exposure pictures. Sometimes its landscape and at others could be cityscapes. For me it's all the better if you can see people moving through the image just as we move through life.
Some of my prints capture the peace and traquility nature as i enjoy being out as often as i can. You can see this in some of the original photographic prints.
You'll find images of everything that catches my eye! I enjoy a true variety of subject matter. I'll also try to describe the journey of getting the pictures. (some will have video of the photographic prints / services adventure itself) which is just as important as the image itself. You probably won't find models on here, after all, I want real interactions where everyone has a story to tell
We can do large prints that bring life to the walls in your home. New prints are released regularly, so check back often. If you sign up for updates, you will get notified about new prints. There will also be Ltd edition prints at some stage and some future portrait photography.
A part of my photgraphy / videography sphere, pre pandemic I was recording football matches for some football academies. At the time my son was playing in a lot of matches so i was recording for training purposes. From there I took part recording some training sessions when i wasnt coaching, so if anyone wants that kind of service Its something I can do again.
Photography as Communication
I am very lucky to be surrounded by natural beauty. Sometimes it has to be uncovered as its hidden in everyday life which can be heavy camoflage. I find daily life to be of most interest to me and as an explorer through life i look to find this in my photography.
Video as part of my experience
Cameras ive always loved, however i don't limit myself to just still photography. I have taken lots of footage of a wide variety of things. It all really started off when my son was working his way up to academy level at football. A good way to check goalkeeper technique was to video training and games. All of the clubs he played for prior to university didn't mind and some also used footage to further develop the field players. Sometimes when out with my camera i may well video the experience.
My Background
I've loved taking pictures for a few years now. Lately (Since 2020) I've been inspired to look beyond my own interests and to try new evolving subject matter My photography includes many different subjects, scenes, and moments. The right moment captured really can be quite special
